TMA Logistics is an important logistics player within the North Sea Canal area and performs transshipment of containers via inland shipping, short sea and deep sea. In addition, cars, breakbulk, agricultural products and project cargo are transshipped at the TMA terminals in Velsen, Beverwijk, Harlingen and Amsterdam. TMA has 100,000 m2 of logistics warehouses in the North Sea Canal area, Alkmaar and Harlingen.
In terms of sustainability, TMA is progressive through inland shipping and new energy. The ships of TMA ensure a reduction of transport with trucks, and therefore a reduction of emissions. TMA is also strong in the transshipment of windmills, windmill parts, energy cables and solar energy related products. TMA Logistics thus contributes to the energy transition.
